When you open your home to foster, we provide everything you need — including food, puppy pads, crates, and other essential supplies. Our goal is to ensure both you and your foster pup feel happy, supported, and secure every step of the way.

 

Veterinary Care

Barking Wishes covers all veterinary expenses. Foster families may be asked to transport their foster pup to scheduled veterinary appointments when needed.

 

Adoption Events

We regularly participate in adoption events at various locations. While dates and venues may vary, we encourage foster families to bring their foster pup whenever possible to help them gain visibility and find their forever home.

 

Be Part of the Adoption Journey

We love when our fosters play an active role in the adoption process! If you feel comfortable, we welcome you to speak with potential adopters about your foster’s personality, quirks, and needs. Of course, if you prefer, our team is always happy to handle those conversations. We want you to feel confident that your foster pup is being placed in the right home.

 

Finding the Right Fit

We carefully match foster dogs with homes that best suit their needs. If at any time you feel your foster is not the right fit, please communicate with us. Likewise, if your circumstances change and you are no longer able to foster, just let us know — we will arrange a new placement.
